5μm microporous lithium foil products can be used for lithium ion battery anode, silicon carbon anode, and silicon anode pre-lithium use, effectively improving the battery first Secondary cycle efficiency, while significantly improving the cycle-life of lithium batteries. The microporous lithium foil products have tiny through-holes to facilitate electrolyte penetration. The product has a thickness of only 5μm, which can control the amount of lithium supplementation more accurately than other lithium supplementation methods; the product is continuous microporous lithium foil. The product can be used directly in the Dry Room, which is safe and reliable.

 Lithium-carbon composite material (Li-CNT) is based on CNT particles as the skeleton, and lithium metal is filled in the skeleton. 


CNT is an ordinary commercial multi-walled carbon nanotube (purity is 97%); Lithium is battery-grade lithium metal (purity> 99.9%). The mass content of lithium in Li-CNT is 50%, and the particle size D50 = 9 microns, which is consistent with commercial graphite and silicon carbon. 


Passivate the surface (SP @ Li-CNT) of the lithium-carbon composite material to form a hydrophobic and oxygen-phobic layer, improve the handling of the material, and ensure that the material can be safely used in the drying room.

 

Compared to lithium foil anodes, Li-CNT or SP @ Li-CNT electrodes provide more sites for lithium ion deposition and dissolution, suppress dendrite formation, and mitigate electrode volume changes. CNT skeleton particles provide stable support for SEI, so the electrode has better cycle performance.
